retirement

My x-husband has retired, he is getting 1700.00 a month. I am getting 200.00. The pipefitters union said I am being penelized

for taking it early. Shouldn't I be getting half?

You have to look at your divorce decree and the documents related to division of retirement benefits. It is unique for each couple.
