Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

When seeking a divorce can one parent stop the other from taking the children to visit grandmother because of his religious believes. Example, my son-in law is a Muslim and wants to raise children that way my daughter and I are Christians and he dosn't want the grandchildren around me any longer so that I don't say anything to confuse them. I supported the one that is 4 yrs old right now all his life with love, affection, clothes, food, etc but now that he is older he dosn't want me around him anylonger. Even just last week it was ok for her to come by herself to pick up diapers and clothes for newborn that I bought but I can't see him. This is besides the fact that he is very verbal abusive to my daughter.

This is obviously a highly toxic question. A parent has the right to take his/her child where he/she pleases unless the child is being harmed. Only if the parties agrees that the child is to be raised in one religion and one party or his family is violating that type of an agreement, would a court stop such a visitation
