Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I am separated from my husband with a divorce filing pending. We have a minor child age12 who spends 6 days with me and then 8 days with father over a course of 14 days. Custody is pending.
The father has cancer. When he goes into the hospital for treatment, sometimes for 5 days in a row, he sends the minor child to my older daughter who is 30 yrs old.
Should the father be required to tell me that he is in the hospital and the minor daughter by law should be with me, rather than with our older daughter?
His hospitalizations are frequent, perhaps every 10 days.
