Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I was served divorce papers last week giving me 30 days to respond. It is a 100% non-contested divorce with no assets or children to split. I want it over asap and they told my EX that if I don't respond in 30 days that she can go back to the courthouse and the divorce will be granted. Is this the best fastest way to get the divorce finalized?

Not your Ex yet!. Fastest, yes. Best not necessarily. You need to call the lawyer and ask to see the propsed judgment.
