Do I still own share of the house?

My divorce was final 3 years ago. I gave up the house and moved with my kids to the city. My ex-husband was supposed to refinance and have my name quit claimed from the deed. He never did. Do I still legally own part of the house since he never took my name off?

Technically you still own a share of the house. At least on paper. Of course it was the intent of the court that your name not be on the house. I suggests you go back into court and get this cleared up. The policy of the court's in Illinois is to sever as many ties of divorced people as possible.
