If I sign over paternal rights can I stop paying child support?

It is my understanding that until your rights are terminated and someone takes over responsibility for htye chuild by adopting the child then and onyl then you can stop paying support,. The most effectrive way is to fiule a motion to terinate support based upon your actions and see if the Court will enter an order terminating the payments. You should NEVER stop making payments unless and until an order allowing you to do so is entered.
