Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I am a single father of 3. my first two girls are from a girl when i was younger in my teens. my 3rd daughter her mother will not let me see her at all. She told me I can only see her if she is with and I wont be able to see her with my new girlfriend around. I want to know what I can do on my own to be able to see her, I understand if I have to pay child support. I have been on probation for stupid things I have done in the past. I will just finish up my probation next week. The mother does not work she moves from home to home I feel my daughter has no stabity in her life that way. I do work I live on my own and have been for a year in a half now. I feel it is important to have quality time with my daughter. I do not have alot of money again to go back to an attorney and pay him what will be my chances if I try to take her to court on my own, i have my life in order and have paid my price and have grown up alot. Please help!!

I normally do not make recommendations like this but you have an uphill battle to say the least. You've heard of Jeffrey Leving perhaps? He concentrates in dad's rights. I've run into him before and he is very passionate about his point of view. You sound in earnest. Perhaps he can handle your situation pro bono or can recommend someone specifically who can help you without it costing you an arm and a leg? In the meantime perhaps another attorney on our panel with family law experience can give you some direct pointers.
