Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I'm a single MOther and fighting for custody of my daughter. I was never married to his father. I have had physical custody of my daughter 2 YRS OLD. i moved to my country Ecuador, and MY DAGHTER' father is also in Ecuador. Now he is telling me, that he is not going to SIGN ANY AUTHORIZATION FOR HER TO COMING back to USA.. My daughter has double nationality USA N ECUADORIAN..WHAT CAN I DO? SHOULD I TRAVEL BY MYSELF AND go TO COURT (USA) TO HAVE A LEGAL CUSTODY or go court in Ecuador TO GET A PERMITION FOR HER TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO USA. I'M AFRAID THAT HE would ACCUsed for rapture, IF I TRAVEL TO USA WITH OUT HIS PERMITION.???

As you live in Ecuador, you need to talk to a lawyer in that country. If you have lived there for more than 6 months, then an US court might be hesitant to exercise any jurisdiction over your case.
