Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Here's the situation. The woman (approx 30 years of age) is married with a family. She has sex with her son's friend (a teenage boy age 13-15) She gets pregnant and tells no one what happened. I can only assume the husband was told the baby was his, and the boy was never told anything. Fifteen years later, the teenage boy (now an adult) sees a photo of the child online and knows instantly it is his son.
What are the rights of all concerned in a situation like this?

The biolgical father can bring an action to determine paternity. However, I suggest that he think twice before doing so. Is it in the child's best interest to have his life turned into complete turmoil? Perhaps, the putative father may want to see whether an informal arrangement with the woman involved can be reached.
