Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My son has a daughter with a ex girlfriend and he has been to court several times trying to get visitation. Everytime he goes to court the judge says that they have to go to a metator, they have been but nothing was accomplished. The last time he was suppose to go to court he left to go to basic training for the Air Force he told the judge that he might be leaving on that day and the judge said that if he was here to show up if not then they would postpone it. I caled the judge to let them know that he did leave for basic training and they told me that since he didn't show up they dismissed it. He got discharged from the Air Force because of medical problems. He hasn't been able to find a job so he can pay child support, so now they are gonna suspend his license. He has asked the judge to just set the visitation but he won't. My granddaughter is now 2 and I think she was like 6 months old the last time that my son saw her. My son knows other people that is in the same situation that he is but they get to see their kids. He was wondering if there was any way that he could sue the court house for discrimination.

If your son is representing himself, he is going to continue to beat his head against the wall. He needs an attorney. Or he can keep doing what he is doing, with the same results.
