Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My son is in Prison and his wife comitteed adultrey on him and now my son wants to file fore a divorce. If he was to give me his Power Of Attorney can I handle his divorce for him in a court of law?

I have never seen a person acting on a POA obtain divorce in 37 years. If he wants a divorce, he can file and obtain an order getting him into court.
