Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My son's father recently moved into a one bedroom apartment with his girlfriend and he wants to take our son overnight. I do not feel comfortable with this at all. Is there a law that states the child has to have a room with a door of their own?

No such law exists. A judge may rule in that manner, but it is a judge by judge issue.
