my son's father wants to sign off his parental rights. can i still get him for child support even though he gets disability?

Contact DHS to have a support order set up. Signing off parental rights has no impact on child support.

More importantly, one can not sign off his parental rights, except if the child is adopted, and if the child is adopted, then his support obligation terminates
