Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My sons 4 years old and his father has had very minimal contact with him and now is attempting to get joint custody he has a criminal record and I have 3 other children with another man. Will it be possible for him to get joint custody?

It is possible. That is a very broad question. Without knowing what he is claiming you are doing or not doing that is not in your child's best interest, it is very difficult tonrespond, but yes, it is "possible" for him to obtain custody. Unlikely that he will get joint custody.
