Spanking in Illinois.

Is it legal to spank your child in the state of Illinois?

There is a law in Illinois that gives the parents the right to "reasonable" corporal punishment (spankings). You can't beat them up, or leave welts or markings on the child.

Of course it is.

The only matter of concern for DCFS is if your actions endanger the child. I am not sure if this is a serious question.
