Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

spousal contribution towards mortgage

#1 My spouse of two years, who I have no childeren with, she retains a good paying fulltime job and is living in our home. She does not have to contribute to the mortgage.I have been maintaining this note to the tune of 11,000.00 to date. How can I recoupe these dollars in the settlement.Do I get credit for reducing the principal? Can the entire payment be reflected on a credit.#2 How is it that she gets to live there without contributing to the mortgage? Our incomes are comparativly equal. She trumped up some charges to get me out of the house and at this time an O.P.is in effect.Thank You
