spousal support

i have been trying to get back spousal support from my ex. It is hard because he is an Independent Contractor and I have so far managed to seize the money from a citation to discover assets to a third party. the tricky part is how to get these funds released when I go for the hearing?

I am not clear as to certain aspects of your question, but I can advise that you will need to show that the money is in fact your ex-husbands and you have to have a lien on his assets as a result of a court order showing he is behind. If you have an attorney, he will know the process and you particular situation. If you are doing this by yourself, you can try to explain your situation to the judge.
