Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Is there a statue of limitation for divorces, whereas if a couple has been separated for so many years that getting a nonfault, nonsupport (due to no children or assets) divorce requires only one signature?

A divorce never required 2 signatures. If they have been apart (even if in the same house) for two years, one can obtain a divorce on the grounds of irreconciliable difference, or if less than 2 years a fault ground might be proven. Again, the other side need not sign anything to obtain a divorce. It does, however, make it easier.
