status of pre marital property after Condo sale

My wife was owner of a Condo and her father was cosigner for the loan. She sold the condo and the money was put into buying a house in which we moved into.Only her father was put on the loan even though the downpayment came from the condo. We are married and do I have any rights to these monies?Would the pre marital status change.

Re: status of pre marital property after Condo sale

Hello. You do not have rights to these monies, in my opinion. The money was premarital and that status

does not change with the purchase of property. The house, as long as it is in your father-in-law's name, is not marital property either. Will be happy to answer any additional questions that you may have.
