Statutory rape

I have a 21 year old son having sex with a 17 year old girl, can he be charged with statutory rape?

Absolutely not. 17 is the age of consent in IL.

HOWEVER, make sure she is 17. If, in addition to being a ----, she is a liar, the son will go to jail. Not knowing the real age because the girl lied is no defense. There are plenty of men in jail for having sex with women who lied about their age.
