Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I had a Support Order entered in Feb 1995 which stipulated that I pay support for my son. My son and his mother subsequently moved to Georgia and I moved to New York. In 1999 a Foreign Support order was registered in my state of New York. The original order stated explicitly that support "shall terminate on 1/17/2010". I recently learned that the order was unilaterally modified to continue support until 30 May 2010 since my son is still in High School. I know the laws were changed in 2003 but my order had an explicit date. I know it's only 4.5 more months but I was hoping this was over. Suggestions?

The law in many states (such as Illinois) state 18 or 19 and still in high school. There is nothing you can do but be glad you only have a few more months.
