taking away a fathers legal rights
my ex-husband is about 4-5 years behind in support payments. can i take away all legal rights to my child? I want my husband now to adopt him as his son. where would i begin to start this process?

Hello -
To start the process, you and
your husband should file a
petition for adoption. Here
you can allege that your
ex-husband had all but
abandoned your child(ren)
by not paying child support.
