Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Hello - thank you for taking the time to read my question, I appereciate your input. My ex husband has been unemployed for 19 months and recently began a part time job. He is recieving unemployment as well as his part time pay (he is unwilling to share total hours worked and pay rate), is he required to pay 20% of all income = the states allowance for our minor child + 20% of his part time pay? Thanks in advance.

He is required to pay whatever the court order is. If, when he became unemployed, he went into court to modify his support obligation, then whatever that new order says is what he is obligated to pay. If he is getting unemployment compensation, he is allowed to get a dependent allowance. You can go into court and ask the court to order his to pay over the dependent allowance and 20% of his part-time wages.
