Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
What does the term "impunded income" mean? I told the judge I am not going to work and plan to stay at home and raise my children I have with my 2nd husband (as I did with my first husband, who now has custody of the kids). I don't work, but currently pay $50 per week in child support. I asked the judge "could he force me to get a job", his answer was "I cannot tell you how I will rule on this case, but certainly might have to take into account impunded income". I have looked all over online and cannot find this term.

What the judge said was "imputed income". It means he will assume you can earn a minimal amount (say minimum wage), and will then use that to determine what you should pay for support.
It is "imputed" income. You have a legal duty to contribute to the support of your children in the custody of your former husband. The fact that you may have a new family does not give you a legal reason not to work, He can't foce you to get a job, but he can order to pay support based upon what you should be earning. If you fail to pay that money, the judge could hold you in contempt for nn-payment of support
