''Can he terminate his paternal rights''

My boyfriend has told me that if I have this child, then he will contact an attorney and terminate all of his paternal rights so that he won't have to pay child support. Can he do this before the baby is born, and can I fight it?

No he can't terminate his parental rights to avoid child support. If he fails to pay up, contact state agencies to chase child support for you.
