Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
What type of attorney do I need?
I took my grandmother, who has dementia, in 2 years ago. Since then my uncle has continued to live in her old house. That would have been fine, but he and his brothers have now trashed the house by piling it full with all of their junk. They maintain that they have full right to use the house as they see fit and that they are entitled to keep their stuff there even to the detriment of her house since my grandmother had never forced them to remove it before. Who do I talk to so that I can make them ''move it or lose it''

Re: What type of attorney do I need?
Well, I see two sort of broad issues: dealings with your disabled grandmother and then the home "issues."
The grandmother issues are fairly straight forward...either make sure you have powers of attorney for her or if she's no longer competent then you should get a guardianship over her.
Now on the home I'm not sure what "end" you want to achieve. If they don't own any part of the house or have a lease then if you want them out change the locks and keep them out. Do you want to seel the home?
