Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I have a veery complicated problem, 4 years ago I gave temporary guardianship to a close friend of my 4 kids, and i need to know what i legally need to do to get them back we didnt go through the courts i just wrote out a paper and had it notorized by a local bank

No court order = no guardianship. Your notarized letter holds no weight as far as the law is concerned. However, because your friend may not want to given them back, you'll probably have to go to court - if your friend can show you are an unfit parent, the case is over.
