Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
vincent cash 14months
i went to court today and i didn't want to allow overnight visitation. i was concerened that my ex dosn't have the capacity, patience, communication, and has dispayed neglegence and agressiveness toward the infant. and aleays looses patience with the child overnight. i feel that my attorney did not represent me well, and did not try. i also had other reasons why. can i appeal? and will that make me look like i don't want interatcion between a father and son, because i very much do.

Hello. Yes you can appeal the judge's ruling,
unless you agreed to the way in which visitation
was scheduled. If you entered into an agreed order, it may be difficult to have it changed. I
will be happy to answer any additional questions
you may have.
