Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I used to visit my father but I because of emotional abuse. I left my things there and he will not give me them back. They were given as gifts. What rights do I have.

As I have no idea how old you are , then question is unanswerable. If you are over 18, what proof do you have that the property is yours. If he refuses to give you your property, sue him in pro se court for the value of the property.
