Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Visitation Order
My husband was granted visitation through cook county. During mediation that was required by the court, the mother of his kids, agreed to allow him access of all medical history, school information, approved my husband of being the next of kin to contact in case of emergency, agreed that the visitation order can be modified as long as mutually agreed upon, especially if the modification is work related. Well, she has given the kids physicians office a letter she wrote, saying she does not want him to have access to medical records. she has also done this with the kids school. Basically she has gone against everything she fully agreed to in mediation. She has also denied him visitation when hehave showed up fifteen minutes late due to work on wednesday. He had already informed her that being a truck driver, my day ends when he has delivered my load. She was fully aware that he would be late,(because I called her)but was still picking them up. What can he do?? His current lawyer doesn't seem to want to do anything. He says talk to her, but it is hard when she slams the door in his face, before he can even get a word out.

Re: Visitation Order
#1 - send the court orders to the school and doctors. That should help. #2 - go back to court and enforce what they agreed upon. I am not sure why the attorney does not want to do anything as it is quite a simple process.
