How do i get visitation rights for my daughter?

Since the child lives in Illinois, you must hire a lawyer in Illinois who is from the county that your child resides. He will then advise you.

More facts are required to answer you question -- are you married?, divorced?, if not married, are you the biological father or mother?

In general, visiation is established by a court order, whether in a divorce or paternity proceeding.

You would file a Motion for a parenting schedule if paternity has already been established.
