Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Visitation tampering

My soon to be exhusband constantly defies our court order for visitation by keeping her without my consent when I have to pick her up at a certain time. What can I do??? He has gotten away with it several times and this last time he kept her overnight until the next day at 7pm when I was to pick her up at 5pm the previous day. He does this all the time and I want him to obey our court order pertaining to visitation. Please help

Re: Visitation tampering

If there is a court order establishing visitation, and the other party is violation such an order, you will need to file a Rule to Show Cause or similar type of motion in court modifying visitation. Hope this helps, if not, email me at [email protected]
