Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Visitation with my 15 year old

What can be done regarding my ex- who has full custody of our son, not wanting to 1st, let me know where they recently moved to, and 2nd, they have no phone, and3rd, I think he recently lost his job after almost 20 years. He wants to use the child as a message relayer, which is not legal and he is supposed communicate directly with me, not through the child, correct? Last, this is exactly what the father wants to do. Is it legal to give the OK to the child which he recently did without me having no knowledge of him coming to see me. Should it be confirmed with me so I'll know? What should I do now?
