Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife has cheated on me for 4 months now. We have 2 kids together and she kicked me out of the house and he is living in our house. He is also married. The question I have is where do I stand in all of this? My wife said she was going to file for the divorce? I am confused as well as my kids.

If she is in an adulterous relationship, you can file for divorce. Whether you can obtain custody is not so clear. Why did you move out? Why did you allow the kids to stay with her and not take them with you? What was your relationship with the kids prior to her entering into her relationship with "him?" You should be taking affirmative steps and not sitting on your butt.
