Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife filed for divorce and I guess she figured I was never going to receive the dissolution papers so she went pro se as did I. Everything has been set as far as child support and property the only remaining issue is a settlement that she received from her employer stemming from an incident in 2009. My wife asked me to leave the residence 5 days before mediation and was paid approximately 30 days after that. I have not filed a discovery motion as of yet and this may go to trial on the next court date. If I do not file the discovery motion and we go to trial and the ruling is in my favor how do the courts go about enforcing payment?

It depends on what the divorce papers say. Without examining those documents, it is impossible to answer your question. If the court orders payment, ask the order to set a date by which the payment is to be made.
