Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My wife has filed for divorce under irreconcilable as well as mental cruelty. She is also having an affair. We are young, no assets except for our cars, no kids. I am trying to get her to go to a marriage seminar weekend. She is refusing. I am looking for any legal leverage I can use to try and get her to go. Only thing my lawyer could come up with is offering to finalize divorce immediately after the seminar. She refused. Any other creative ways to use leverage on her?
