Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife filed order of protection from me, in hearing judge extended the order to 6 more months. And advice me take anger management class, and he will reconsider the case and may shorten the period. If I take class, what I have to do to see the Judge? What will be the further process? like there will be more court hearing, will my wife and her lawyer will be there? I don't want to go to more hearings, because I don't have lawyer and my wife does. And is there any other way to shorten the period?

No - and you can not appear before the judge without notice to your wife's attorney.
