Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My ex wife has issued an Order of Protection against me claiming that my current wife and I physically abused my 8 year old son. The order has an account of what happened that is TOTALLY untrue!! What is true is that my 8 year old son was acting out of control and causing harm to his younger sister and step sisters, so he had to be removed from the situation and put in timeout. I NEVER spank the kids or anything like that, but because he is mad at me and my wife for putting him in timeout and in trouble, he made up this windy story to his mother, who in turn went and filed an Order of Protection. I was already taking my ex to court for denying me visitation because she said I wouldn't get the kids to their activities if she let me have them those weekends. She is blowing this Order of Protectoin issue out of proportion just to get back at me for taking her to court. What can I do???

You must hire an attorney to dispute your wife's claims. If you blow them off you will have considerable trouble getting visitation with your son at a later date.
You need to get an attorney for serious disputes like this. If you are pro se and trying to fight these accusations, you will have a tough time in court. You need to treat this aggressively to avoid losing visitation.
