Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife and I have been seperated for 3 years now. I have lived in Illinois my entire live. Recently while I was serving in Afghanistan, she sold our house in Illinois and bought a house in Missouri. Since I have been back in the states, I am still living in Illinois with my parents and she is living in the house in Missouri (which is in my name as well). I am wanting to file for divorce but am not sure what state I need to file in, Illinois or Missouri. Through the military, my state of residency is listed as Illinois and I have a valid Illinois drivers lisc. Which state can I file in?
