Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife was served with papers on June 21st. The clerk of the court stamped it on June 22nd. I was told that if she does not respond in thirty days I can get a default divorce. Will the court accept her answer on the thirty first or second day if I respond immediately for a default divorce immediately after the thirty day period?
