Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Can my wife and I throw my stepson out of our house? He is 26, has a full time job , has a new car and motorcycle, does not pay rent. He says he does not have to pay for anything because this has been his permenant address. he has a quick temper and has punched holes in walls and doors

You probably have to formally evict him. He is a tenant. Give hima 30 day notice to quit (leave) it a=should bwe served by the end of the month effective 2/29/16. If he does not move out you then have to file an evcition. you can not use self help and change the locks. He could sue you.
