Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

How do I know how much I will receive for child support and alimony in Illinois? I quit my job to stay home and raise our children for 11 years with a mutual agreement with my husband to do so. I went back to work about 4 years ago but make 22,000 a year vs. his 91,000 a year. I need to know how I will fare with some kind of idea when this divorce is underway.

You will receive child support based upon the number of children under 19 and attending school - 20% for 1 28% for 2 33% for 3 etc. of his net Illinois income as defined by statute - not necessarily his take home pay Depending on where you live and how much you and your husband have in assets, a court may award you support - it may not. No one can tell you that you are going to received support for yourself - you may, you may not. No guarantee.
