Wrongful Adoption

I was never notified my sister in law was adopting my three sons. She put an OP on me and the birth father to ensure no contact. DCFS investigated me a month before this and it was unfounded. I did try to get a lawyer thru Land of Lincoln Legal Services, but was told I might get visitation but was doubtful. How can I find out who made aquisations to DCFS? Can I sioux her for wrongful adoption? I barely get to visit them now after 7 years and she makes sure they are gone prior to my arrival or shortly there after. The boys do want to visit me, but she won't allow it. She acts nice to me but talks trash behind my back. What can I do?

Your issue is complicated, and I suspect there are many other facts in this case. You cannot normally see who filed the initial complaint, which does not really matter.

You will need an attorney to fight the state of things, and it will take some time.
