Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Can my X-wife take away my overnight visitation with my son because he has been late to school and the school has called a truent officer and wants to have a meeting with me and now she has told my son that she is going to go to court and have them take away my overnights. I have him on wed. Overnight and then I take him to school in the morning and the same every other weekend and I take him to school on mon. Morning so can she do that and will the court take my overnights away from me ???

You fail to say who has custody. I presume your x does. If you are unable to get your son to school on time, as appears to be the case, the court may well take away your over-nights. It may give you one last chance, but tell you if you are late one more time you will lose them. She certainly can ask that the court take away the overnights, and the court may well do so. You have a responsibility to get your son to school on time.
