Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

What can a young mother do to prevent her husband from fleeing the U.S. with their 2 young children (ages 5 and 4 months old) from the U.S. to India or other foreign country? The mother has an order of protection against her husband.who has been treated twice for mental conditions. Mother and children are currently staying at her parent's home (about 2 blocks away from marital home). Grandparents and mother's sisters/brothers also help mother in caring for children. Father is not allowed visitation, per the order of protection.

You need to a file a divorce and obtain and order of custody. That should prevent him from leaving the country with the kids.
