Legal Question in Medical Leave in Illinois
The company I work for is based in Iowa. The building I work in is in Illinois my company has told me that due to the fact of my building being over 75 miles away from the base company and our building having less than 50 employees they do not have to pay me FMLA nor do they offer it to us. We have not had an updated employee handbook given to us in 5 yers so how are we to know what is true and what isn't?
