Legal Question in Medical Leave in Illinois

FMLA - Can they change my job responsibilities?
I am one of two female managers at my company. I am the first woman manager to be granted FMLA for the birth of my child. I am in the top 10 salaried employees also. I was recently notified that my responsiblities would be increased upon my return with no additional compensation. I know they are required to give me back a position of equal status and pay, however can they add more responsiblity?
