Legal Question in Medical Leave in Illinois

I was employed at a company for almost 6 years i was covered under fmla than left the company for a different job but came back 2 weeks later do i have to wait another year to be covered again?

I believe the FMLA regulations support an argument that you do not have to wait another year as long as you have worked 1250 hours for the company in the past twelve months. If you have further concerns, feel free to contact me.
