Legal Question in Medical Leave in Illinois
I have been on leave after the birth of my son. I took the full 12 weeks. I know that my employer is legally required to have a position for me when I return to work, but for how long is that position guaranteed? In other words, if they decided to eliminate my position because of economic reasons, how soon could they do this after I return?

Any time unless there is some other rule or HR protocol to the contrary.....but it would be somewhat conincidental, no?
