Termination Of Employee While on Leave
If an employee is in an appointed Illinois Municipal government position, and has filed the FMLA paperwork with the personnel department, is the elected official who appointed said employee able to terminate employment during the requested leave? If termination papers were received during leave stating said employee has been terminated, what is the recourse?
